This is my altered project I wanted to do a simple bowl but pushed the edges in to make it an altered project i used a white glaze on the inside and green splotchy glaze on the outside to make it a light kind of theme.

This is my planter i decided to go with a simple blue glaze because the planter didnt turn out as well as i thought it would this peice uses shape in the way that the tray outline and guides the eye toward the planter.
This is my Bowl #1 the edge is a little rough because while I was footing it flew off the wheel I decided to keep it cause i still liked the bowl cause it was quite large and I liked it. I threwit with a Shawdow Green exteior and a yellow interior some of the shadow green leaked down to the inside of the bowl and it made for an interesting look! I wasnt quite happy with the way the yellow came out it doesnt look that great so overall the glaze didnt help the way the bowl looked but its a large bowl so i still like it. This bowl shows form in the way that the curved and mishapen rim guide the eyes towards the indie of the bowl. It also shows contrast with the yellows and the green but it comes together nicely. In the making of this project I learned that if your project flys off the wheel while footing just start over it wount turn out good in the end.
This is my tall project when I originally threw it it was much much taller but when it came out of the bisq it shrunk quite a bit! Its about 5-6 inches tall and 3 inches in diamater I threw it with shadow green on the outside and matte green on the inside I had originaly had stripes on it but I accidentaly painted those on in clear so they didnt show up. With this project i learned that it is much easier to throw tall projects when the wheel is going reallly really slow that way it doesnt spin of center.
This is my cup with a puilled handle it turned out really great actually but just as i was chipping some glaze off the foot ring the handle broke off :(. I glazed it with my favorite glaze on the outside (shadow green) and white on the inside so that when i put drinks in it it wouldnt look gross and white just seemed to fit! While making this project I completly forgot how to attach a pulled handle so I re learned ho to do that
This is my vase I only had this vase for a short little while because I dropped it in the hallway and it shattered I glazed it with a green on the outside and black on the inside with blue around the rim that dripped down I learned to be more specific with glazing because glazing is just as important as the throwing process I believe this vase has color because i spent a lot of time with glazing and I believe that it turned out well
Here is us giving our finished group coil to Carl! he wasn't too happy about taking a picture but we took one anyway!
